Gumdo meaning "the way of the sword" in Korean, is an ancient oriental martial art involving sword fighting techniques.

Gumdo, which was mostly developed by the Samurai class in Japan, has been around for more than 2000 years. Comprised of lightening-fast sword strikes and movements, it has become one of the fastest growing martial arts in the world.

It is practiced by many millions of people in over 100 countries, including Canada, Korea, Japan, and the United States.
